New project for McG and Wonderland Sound and Vision, ‘Spaced’ – Update

Fox greenlighted a single-camera comedy pilot based on British series, Spaced. The project was originally picked up by the network back in October, with a put pilot commitment.

Wonderland Sound and Vision is behind the show, along with Warner Bros. TV and Granada, which holds format rights. McG, Peter Johnson, Adam Barr and Robert Green are executive producers.

Spaced revolves around two strangers who pose as a married couple in order to rent an apartment and become intimately involved with the other misfits in the building. The series has been nominated for a BAFTA and an International Emmy Award.

SAG contract negotations

The Screen Actors Guild is reported to begin talks with the AMPTP as soon as their information-gathering is complete on March 31.

The SAG-AFTRA contract on feature film and primetime TV expires June 30, 2008, and according to Variety.com, "Studio worries about an actors strike have resulted in execs refusing to schedule production start dates on films that can't be completed by that date."

Supernatural will not get Lost! – Thursdays, 9 pm/ET, we shall not be moved!

While Supernatural is currently off the air, having been replaced by the CW's freshman series, Reaper, the Supernatural will not get Lost! campaign is still alive, calling fans to keep spreading the word, sending fanart and emailing the network as well as the media with any Supernatural question, opinion and/or comment you can think of.

Supernatural may currently be out of sight, but it will NOT be out of mind!
