Selena Gomez, best known for the Disney channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, heads up the cast of the romantic comedy Monte Carlo. Leighton Meester (Country Strong) and Katie Cassidy (A Nightmare on Elm Street) co-star in the tale of three friends who head to Paris for a vacation away from their parents. Once there, one of them (Gomez) is mistaken for a British heiress and soon the group is treated like princesses and sent off on a glamorous trip to Monte Carlo. Obviously, this is a fictional story.

Kelly Rutherford and Katie Cassidy were on hand this morning at Times Square in New York City in order to help launch the Garnier Cleaner Greener World Tour. Beauty product company Garnier Fructis launched their Cleaner Greener World Tour today which is raising awareness and encouraging consumers to recycle their empty hair-care bottles and personal care product bottles by returning the empty containers to the beauty counter. The empty containers will be collected by TerraCycle who will in turn, “upcycle” them into new containers.

The film was directed by D.J.
