Selena Gomez, best known for the Disney channel's Wizards of Waverly Place, heads up the cast of the romantic comedy Monte Carlo. Leighton Meester (Country Strong) and Katie Cassidy (A Nightmare on Elm Street) co-star in the tale of three friends who head to Paris for a vacation away from their parents. Once there, one of them (Gomez) is mistaken for a British heiress and soon the group is treated like princesses and sent off on a glamorous trip to Monte Carlo. Obviously, this is a fictional story.
Hitting theaters on July 1st, Monte Carlo was directed by Thomas Bezucha (The Family Stone) and also features Glee's Cory Monteith. Check out the trailer
