"At 9, "Supernatural" opened its fifth season with a 1.4/4 in 18-49 and 3.40 million viewers overall — down a bit vs. its opener of last season but up slightly in women 18-34.
Combined, "Vampire Diaries" and "Supernatural" gave CW its highest-rated Thursday in adults 18-34 (1.8/6) since March 2007 and its best ever in women 18-34 (2.4/7)."
