Get ready, 'cause here comes The CW! From "One Tree Hill" to "Smallville," from hotties to hunks, tonight at 9 p.m. on The CW, we go behind the scenes of the hippest shows on TV with "ET Presents The CW: Launch of a New Network."
Our own RYAN DEVLIN and "One Tree Hill"'s HILARIE BURTON host the fun, hourlong special, which features exclusive interviews with stars like LAUREN GRAHAM of the long-running "Gilmore Girls" and exciting behind-the-scenes footage from groundbreaking shows like "Everybody Hates Chris," where star TYLER JAMES WILLIAMS' TV parents and real-life parents challenge each other to see who knows the teenager best!
The hosts will also pay visits to "Veronica Mars"' KRISTEN BELL, DONNIE WAHLBERG of the new show "Runaway," TRACEE ELLIS ROSS of "Girlfriends" and of course, supermodel-turned-mogul TYRA BANKS.
"America's Next Top Model" launches The CW's primetime schedule on Wednesday, September 20, and we take the A-lister on a trip down memory lane with a look back at her early days in the biz!
First, it's Tyra's runway past exposed! She says her hair people weren't always the best. "It was crazy back then, people pulling on your hair, realizing you have to get a hair weave or you're not going to have any hair left!"
And the make-up people weren't any better! "I didn't trust make-up artists back then," she says. "I would do my own make-up."
Then we go from the runway to the airwaves to look back on her role as WILL SMITH's girlfriend on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," to her first steps in her journey to becoming a self-made mogul, to the birth of Tyra Inc., a media empire that includes "ANTM," her daytime talk show, her charity and more than a dozen upcoming projects!
Launching The CW's primetime schedule on September 20 with her show is something that humbles Tyra. "It feels really good that The CW trusts 'America's Next Top Model' to start the network!" Tyra says.
Meanwhile, tomorrow night, ET presents "Party with The CW Network Stars," also hosted by Ryan and Hilarie. Be a part of the red-carpet action as The CW celebrates its launch!
