The 2008 Constellation Awards – Results are in

Supernatural won The 2008 Constellation Awards' Best Overall 2007 Science Fiction Film or Television Script for "What Is & What Should Never Be" (episode #2.20). The ceremony was held on July 12th, 2008 at Polaris 22.

The series was also nominted for Best Science Fiction Television Series of 2007 and Outstanding Canadian Contribution to Science Fiction Film or Television in 2007, while Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles were both nominated for Best Male Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Television Episode.

Samantha Smith, who plays 'Mary Winchester' on Supernatural, was nominated for Best Female Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Film, TV Movie, or Mini-Series, for her role in Transformers.

The first 10 minutes of Season Four.

From Broadcasting & Cable: "Exclusive clips also create a thrill, so much so that Sera Gamble, executive story editor for The CW's Supernatural, recently overheard executive producers Eric Kripke and Robert Singer debate what to show at their panel. Kripke argued hard for the first 10 minutes of this fall's season four to please the fans. “They deserve it,” he said. But Singer nixed the idea partly because “10 minutes later, everyone on planet Earth will know about it” via the blogosphere."Read More

Jensen Ackles on a comic big-screen adaptation?

Not exactly.

In an interview with The Trades, Lora Innes was asked who would she pick to play her core characters if The Dreamer was to have a big-screen adaptation. "I use Jensen Ackles as Captain Nathan Hale, but I’m afraid he’s far too cool and sexy to pull off Nathan’s intellectual, overly-wordy quirkiness. Who knows, maybe it’s because he’s never been cast in a role like that!"
