Should Sam and Dean get fitted for zoot suits? It appears that the CW series is booking a trip to the 1940s or thereabouts, seeing as a casting call has gone out for the role of – wait for it – Eliot Ness. Yes, as in the famous G-man who headed up The Untouchables. Specifically, the show wants an actor in his 40s who presents “an unyielding regality” and in a sharp suit is “the epitome of cool unflappability.” Oh, why am I still talking – y’all are busy imaging the Winchesters in zoot suits. Wakey-wakey!

‘SUPERNATURAL’: SERA GAMBLE TALKS WHO WILL RETURN… AND WHO WON’T (FOR A WHILE)
I’ve been on a bit of a Supernatural high lately, and I hope I never come down. First, there was wedding scoop, and then I was lucky enough to pop onto the set. If this continues, I’m canceling Christmas because nothing can top this! Anyhoo, I did make sure to save a little nugget for my little nuggets. And it comes from executive producer Sera Gamble, who helped clear up a little confusion about Cas’ (Misha Collins) eminent return. When we last saw him, he was falling to pieces because of the Leviathans, and shortly before that, he was sweet, remorseful angel Cas, leaving us to wonder: Which will we see? “The best way I can be coy about it is to say you’ll see Misha again,” she said. “There are so many versions you have seen him play on the show, but I can’t tell you what we’re planning. Hopefully it’ll not be what people have predicted, but we’ll see.”
Meanwhile, one person we won’t be seeing for a bit is Mark Pellegrino, who reprised his role as Lucifer in the first two episodes.… Read More

Ausiello: I have a hunch the Nov. 18 episode, titled “Season 7, Time For a Wedding,” should quench your meta/humor thirst. (And before you ask, yes, one of the brothers is the groom.)
Question: Will Sam’s hallucinations and troubles with the collapsed wall in his head be a season-long journey on Supernatural? —Mark
Ausiello: “We don’t really plan for that to ever fully go away,” responds exec producer Sera Gamble. “In terms of that being a condition that Sam has, it’s just part of him now. By the end of last week’s episode, he had started to develop ways of coping with it. And the next step in that story is seeing how his attitude changes and how Dean is dealing with it and his worries about it. But what happened to Sam’s head is pretty permanent.”
