The Mystic Carnival – The Supernatural/Thriller Convention
Danielle Harris (Halloween [2007], Left For Dead) and spiritual counselor Star were added to Shallow Graves Magazine Supernatural/Thriller Convention, The Mystic Carnival, to be held August 28-30, 2009 at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
As was already announced, Chad Lindberg (Ash), Fredric Lehne (Yellow Eyed-Demon), Samantha Smith (Mary Winchester), Charles Malik Whitfield (Agent Victor Henricksen), Richard Speight Jr. (The Trickster), Traci Dinwiddie (Pamela Barnes), Psychic Dakota Lawrence, Michael Biehn (Terminator, Grindhouse), Jennifer Blanc-Biehn (Dark Angel), Dana Daurey (Silent Lies, Bewitched, Prank), Tony Todd (Candyman, "Masters of Horror", "24") and James Kyson Lee ("Heroes") are also scheduled to attend the event.
The convention will benefit The Canadian Cancer Society, as a percentage of the the profits will go to the CCS.
The event will be open to the public with event packages for the weekend to include Question and Answer panels, autograph signings, photo opportunities, a cocktail party, a dinner banquet, watching fireworks over the Coal Harbor, plus a carnival where a number of the stars get involved with the fun.

Misha Collins at EyeCon 2009
Misha Collins (Castiel) is scheduled to attend the 3rd EyeCon convention, to be held March 20-22, 2009 at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center, Orlando, Florida, USA.
As was already announced, Jared Padalecki, Chad Lindberg (Ash) and Jason Manns are also scheduled to attend the event.
Manns, who provided original music for Supernatural and Carpoolers, will be performing a Q&A and concert. For more information, click here.

Alona Tal on ‘Blessed is the Match’
Alona Tal (Jo Harvelle) is taking part in the documentary movie Blessed is the Match, giving voice, along side Joan Allen, to the diaried words of Catherine and Hannah Senesh.
Blessed is the Match: The Life and Death of Hannah Senesh tells the true-life story of Hannah Senesh, the Jewish paratrooper, who parachuted behind enemy lines during World War II, and was captured, tortured and ultimately executed by the Nazis.
The movie will be released on January 28, 2009 (New York and Los Angeles release: February 6).
