Liane Balaban judges Whistler Film Festival

“It’s a good thing Liane Balaban enjoys watching movies. Sometimes, the Toronto-born, LA-based actor will watch them for 10 hours at a time — mostly because it’s part of her job.  Balaban is sitting on one of the judging panels for this year’s Whistler Film Festival. That means she’s required to watch 15 Canadian films over five days and decide with her fellow jurors which ones deserve the top prize for the Borsos Award for best Canadian feature. It’s a coveted position that requires an open mind, passion for film and most of all, the ability to sit still for up to two hours at a time.”

Liane Balaban is Supernatural’s Amelia Richardson.  Click here for the rest of the article.
