Jensen Ackles has been cast to star in the new DC home movie from the Dark Knight saga "Batman: Under the Red Hood." Ackles will voice Red Hood, a vigilante "who doesn't mind cleaning up Gotham by leaving dead bodies in his wake."
Written by Judd Winick, executive produced by Bruce Timm and directed by Brandon Vietti, "Batman: Under the Red Hood" also co-stars Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek) as Batman, Neil Patrick Harris ("How I Met Your Mother") as Nightwing, John DiMaggio ("Futurama") as the Joker and Jason Isaacs (the Harry Potter films) as Ra's Al Ghul.
