Supernatural fans taking over Twitter!

Supernatural fans have taken over Twitter during Thursday, September 10, 2009 in honor of Season 5 premiere.

FOX News Radio reported that "Hot twoppic of the week is the tv show #Supernatural, which returns tonight for its 5th season on the CW. The Winchester brothers are back trying to stop the apocalypse, and deal with the arrival of Lucifer. Fans have been promoting the season premiere by retweeting #supernatural and #luciferiscoming."

According to BuddyTV report, "at one point this morning, Supernatural held five of the top trending spots". Apparently, the take over led to a controversy which caused Twitter to remove "Lucifer is coming."

Additional report on the take over is on Associated Content, as TV Guide Magazine have also mentioned the nearly ignited religious war.

Supernatural cast and crew were aware of the taking over. Misha Collins addressed the taking over on his Twitter, asking, among other things, "We're at war with Puff Daddy now?" Traci Dinwiddie (Pamela Barnes) wrote on her Twitter that "Kripke and all were blown away by the SPN fandom's "tweeter take-over"! It was the buzz of the evening! Well done, #Supernatural! xoxo" Chad Lindberg (Ash) took part in the Season 5 twitting.
