According to different sources, the CW is pairing Supernatural with its new drama, Vampire Diaries. According to the sources, Supernatural will remain in its time slot, while Vampire Diaries will take Smallville's place at 8 PM.
The CW is holding its upfront TODAY, Thursday, May 21st.
