Matthew Cohen’s ‘Rockville, CA’ on MySpace

According to Social Media Portal, original episodes of Rockville, CA will debut simultaneously on TheWB.com and MySpace in an exclusive, 24-hour shared window. Still according to the site, the series' MySpace will offer, aside from the complete episodes, loads of additional content, including behind-the-scenes photos, links to the MySpace profile pages for the featured musical performers, and a "Rockville CA" widget. Fans can also find a complete live musical performance by each of the 20 artists appearing in the show, as well as green room interviews, and links to a "Rockville CA" set tour given by series star Ryan Hansen, production diaries and character pieces.

Rockville, CA, Matthew Cohen (Young John Winchester) new Web series, premiered last night (March 17). The series will air every Tuesday, and through May 12, at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT on www.TheWB.com.

From Emediawire: "Rockville CA" is set in a fictional Los Angeles rock club and was shot on location at The Echo, a popular indie music venue in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The series takes viewers into the lives of a group of twentysomethings who gather regularly at the club to hear their favorite up-and-coming bands, blow off steam, fall in love with the wrong people, and then talk about how they've fallen in love with the wrong people.

The series, created by The O.C.'s Josh Schwartz, is a 20-episode series. Each episode runs between four and six minutes, and features a live musical performance. Cohen plays Syd, a bass player and bartender.
