Due to filming requirements, Jensen Ackles will not be able to attend Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural, to be held Friday-Sunday, June 6-8, 2008 at Hyatt Regency DFW, Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
Added to the guests list: Alona Tal (Jo Harvelle), Samantha Ferris (Ellen Harvelle) and Gabriel Tigerman (Andrew "Andy" Gallagher).
Also scheduled to attend the convention are Jared Padalecki, Fredric Lane (The Yellow-Eyed-Demon), Chad Lindberg (Ash) and Steve Carlson.
Carlson, who composed the song "Night Time" for Supernatural episode "Provenance", will perform a one-man 90 minute concert on Saturday evening at 9pm as well as appearing on stage Sunday.
