Day, who created and starred in popular web series The Guild and recurs on The CW’s Supernatural (she will return in season nine), promises that brand-new content will debut during Geek Week. ‘We also have a ton of programming throughout the week that is either geared toward Geek Week, is new for Geek Week or premiering new shows and personalities,’ she says.

‘SUPERNATURAL’: PICKING UP THE PIECES; PLUS, ‘DOCTOR DEAN-LITTLE’

That Men of Letters stuff is just the gift that keeps on giving. It’s no secret that I was a big fan of the introduction of this mythology last year, and EP Jeremy Carver told me this week that they intend to ride the MOL train into this season. “We’ll be delving a lot more into that,” he says, “and in fact we’ll be seeing the very first two hunters to ever be stationed at the men of letters bunker. That’s a really, really fun episode we have coming up early in the season where we will be flashing back to 1935.”

Programming Alert: Supernatural Marathon on TNT Today

August 2, 2013

“There’s roughly two months until the CW’s Supernatural drops season nine on the masses — one week earlier than originally announced. While that’s good news, we are still in the midst of a painful hellatus. But today TNT is helping us fans out by airing a marathon of season seven episodes. It all starts this morning at 9/8c.

But before we get to the lineup, let’s touch on how the series seems to be doing really well in repeats on TNT. On any given day, the show that stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, pops up on the top 100 cable shows. In fact, on Wednesday, July 31, all three airings of Supernatural (9AM, 10AM and 11AM) appeared on the list.”
