Casey: Supernatural scoop, pretty please, with sugar and a cherry on top?!

Fine, but only because we’re hungry. Prepare for flashbacks to the ‘30s in episode four, which is titled “Slumber Party.” In the same episode, we’ll meet a young new hunter named Dorothy, who is from a very far away land that is supposed to be fictional. Keywords here: “supposed to be.”

WATCH Mark Pellegrino attempt to justify ‘Supernatural’s’ Lucifer’s reasoning (Video)

August 7, 2013

“Mark Pellegrino plays a lot of bad guys, but he has always said the key to doing so it not playing them like they are bad guys. Instead, Pellegrino puts himself in his characters’ shoes to understand where they are coming from and to determine reasons behind their behaviors to make them more relatable, even if not completely justifiable. He has done this for his new role on The Tomorrow People, coming to The CW (more on that soon!), but most notably he has done it for one of his most iconic– and arguably actually evil– roles, Lucifer on Supernatural.”

Misha Collins on Castiel’s ‘fish out of water-ness’ & directing ‘Supernatural’

August 6, 2013

“On The CW’s Supernatural, Castiel (Misha Collins) has always been a ‘fish out of water’– and that may never be more true than on the upcoming ninth season in which he has lost all of his angel abilities, on which the Winchesters have come to rely so greatly. But it will also be a chance for Collins himself to dive into a different side of the production pond with his directorial debut on the series.”

Jeremy Carver talks the return of Bobby + more on ‘Supernatural’ S9

August 6, 2013

“A couple of days ago LA TV Insider Examiner brought you our TCA chat with Supernatural executive producer Jeremy Carver. In it, he talked about a lot of ‘junk’ falling from heaven on season nine, which to us, implied more than traditional angels fell when the previous season ended. What about the souls of those Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) knew and loved and perhaps saved at one time or another– but then couldn’t save at another time? Their rank may not have been of Biblical portions up in Heaven, but many of them were up there. For a few, like Ellen (Samantha Ferris) and Ash (Chad Lindberg), we even saw them up there. So could they be finding their way back to appear on season nine?”
