Review of SPN tie-in novel: “Night Terror”
“There’s currently no information regarding an extension of the “Supernatural” novel line, despite the popularity of the series (now beginning its seventh season). However, if this is the final tie-in novel to hit the shelves, then I think it’s safe to say that the line went out on a high note.
This particular novel is set late in the sixth season, soon after “Frontierland”, shortly after the restoration of Sam’s soul. Like many of the novels of late, the mandate from the publisher and the production staff was to use the novel format to tell a story on a scale that the current television budget cannot allow.”
