IFC acquires rights to Cindy Sampson film, The Shrine

"IFC Midnight has acquired U.S. rights to Jon Knautz’ “The Shrine,” winner of Best Canadian Feature at the 2010 Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. The thriller follows a group of journalists on the hunt for the reason behind a young American backpacker’s disappearance in Europe."

"The film, produced by J. Michael Dawson, stars Aaron Ashmore (SMALLVILLE), Cindy Sampson (SUPERNATURAL) and Ben Lewis (SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD)."

‘Supernatural’ The Musical Episode Possible?

Musical episodes seem to be popular right now. Following the successful musical episode on Grey's Anatomy, it is now being revealed that CW series Supernatural could also have a musical episode in its future if it returns for another season.

According to Digital Spy, executive producer of the series. Bob Singer, said the following: "From year one, there have been two things we've talked about. How do you do a musical, and how do you do a cartoon? We haven't found a way to do either one of those yet, but I'm sure it'll come up in conversation for next season – an animated show or a musical. Stars Announced For Easter Celebrity Charity Event At LA Mission

The Mission and its celebrity supporters will serve more than 3,000 meals, provide nearly 1,000 Easter baskets with toys for the kids, and volunteers will wash the feet of the homeless on Good Friday.
