Supernatural Fundraising Campaigns – Updates

Fandom Rocks have concluded their third campaign, raising almost $9000 for WriteGirl and Invisible Children. For more information, click here.

The Jared Photobook Project posted an update, as they now have $5000 to donate to The Animal Rescue Site. For more information, click here.

Support Supernatural have reached their goal to raise at least 500$ for HSUS and PETA each, and are now up to $535 for HSUS and $570 for PETA. Donations, on behalf of Jared Padalecki, will be accepted until November 1st. Donations are now also being accepted for Young Life and Doctors Without Borders on behalf of Jensen Ackles, and have currently reached $545. Also, Titan Magazines has partnered up with Support Supernatural in raising money for the campaigns, and will give 2 subscriptions to auction off at the end of the donation period. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles at the Red Bull Soapbox Race

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, along with Gordon Campbell, Premier of B.C., will attend the Red Bull Soapbox Race Vancouver, putting their driving skills to the test for charity. They will go head to head where the winner will receive $1,000 to donate to the charity of their choice.

The event will take place Sunday, September 7th, 2008, Vancouver's West 4th Avenue, and is free to the public. Gates open at 11:00 am with the first dual-bracketed soapbox race starting at 1:00pm and the charity races taking place at 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
