Gabriel Tigerman and Samantha Smith at the Chicago Convention

Gabriel Tigerman (Andrew "Andy" Gallagher) and Samantha Smith (Mary Winchester) are scheduled to attend Creation Entertainment's 2nd Annual Salute to Supernatural, to be held Friday-Sunday, November 14-16, 2008 at Wyndham Chicago O'Hare, 6810 N. Mannheim Rd., Rosemont, Illinois.

As was already announced, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Jason Manns are also scheduled to attend the event.

Manns, who provided original music for Supernatural and Carpoolers, will be appearing on stage Saturday and will perform a one man concert Saturday evening at 9PM.

SAG – Contract expired. Now what?

The Screen Actors Guild's film and primetime TV contract expired on June 30, and now SAG is waiting for the results of the ratification vote for AFTRA's contract before deciding on its next move.

The results of the AFTRA ratification vote are to be announced on Tuesday.

The 2008 Amy Awards – Results are in

Supernatural and its cast received one award and one 'last place', while coming second in five other categories, on Zap2it.com's The 2008 Amy Awards.

Jensen Ackles won the Hottest Actor award, with 23.4% of the vote. Jared Padalecki came last, with only 7.7% of the vote.

Jim Beaver (as Bobby Singer) came in second place on the Best Guest Star category, with 17.8% of the vote, while the 'Dean goes to hell' storyline finished close behind Lost in the Best Plot Twist category, with 22.1% of the vote.

Supernatural also lost to Lost on the Most Missed Show category, coming second with 20.4% of the vote, and on the Best Return from the Writers Strike, ranking in second place with 18.4% of the vote.

The series came second on the Show Amy Never Talks About category (with 22.2% of the votes), as the winner on the category was the None of the Above option.
