Charles Malik Whitfield's (Agent Henricksen) The Temptations to air on VH1 Classic Friday, July 4 at 6:00 PM ET/PT.

"The true story of The Temptations, the Soul vocal group of the 1960s, as seen from the viewpoint of the last surviving member, Otis Williams, played by Charles Malik Whitfield. The story begins in the late 1950s in their hometown of Detroit and chronicles their humble beginnings to their adventurous climb to the top and ends in the 1990s with the untimely deaths of the remaining four members. Also starring are, D.B. Woodside as Melvin Franklin, Terron Brooks as Eddie Kendricks, Christian Payton as Paul Williams and Leon as David Ruffin." Source.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The X-Files' creator, Chris Carter, is in the midst of directing Fencewalker, starring Natalie Dormer, Katie Cassidy, Xzibit, Derek Magyar and Meckah Brooks.

Fencewalker is shooting in the Los Angeles area, on a modest budget and with no distributor at this point.

Danneel Harris (One Tree Hill's Rachel Gatina) and Fredric Lehne (The Yellow-Eyed-Demon) are scheduled to attend Ravens, the One Tree Hill/Supernatural Convention, to be held 10th to 12th October 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Chester, UK.

As was already announced, Bevin Prince (One Tree Hill's Bevin Evan Mirskey), Samantha Smith (Mary Winchester), Emmanuelle Vaugier (Madison) and Hilarie Burton (One Tree Hill's Peyton Sawyer) are also scheduled to attend the event.

Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) is unable to attend the convention.

Kripke scores WB TV deal

Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is scaring up an overall deal at Warner Bros. TV, Variety.com reports.

Under terms of the two-year exclusive pact, Kripke will continue to executive produce and showrun Supernatural, and will also start to develop projects under the deal. No word if one of the new titles might be a Supernatural spinoff.
