Jeffrey Dean Morgan on ‘All Good Things’

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast to star in All Good Things, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie, co-starring Kirsten Dunst and Ryan Gosling, will be directed by Andrew Jarecki. Screenplay by Marcus Hinchey, Marc Smerling and Jarecki. Jarecki and Smerling are producing with Groundswell.

All Good Things "is a love story and murder mystery set against a real estate dynasty in 1980s New York. The plot centers on the scion of the dynasty (Gosling) who falls for a beautiful girl (Dunst) from the wrong side of the tracks, who disappears. Morgan will play a down-and-out detective who tries to uncover the truth." Source.

Production begins this month in Connecticut.

Jensen Ackles on ‘My Bloody Valentine 3-D’

Jensen Ackles is in final negotiations to play a lead in My Bloody Valentine 3-D, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie, a remake of the 1981slasher film, My Bloody Valentine, is directed by Patrick Lussier, who has recently worked on Jessica Alba's The Eye. Zane Smith wrote the screenplay. Executive producers are Jack Murray, John Dunning and Andre Link. Executive producers for Lionsgate are Mike Paseornek and John Sacchi.

"Ackles will play Tom, a handsome, principled man who returns to his home in Harmony, Mo., 10 years after 22 people were murdered on Valentine's night. Back in Montana, Tom finds he still is smitten with his first love, Sarah (Jaime King), and is now a murder suspect."  Source.

Production begins May 12. My Bloody Valentine 3-D is set for release on January 23, 2009.
