Winchester Radio will broadcast Live! from EyeCon 2008, the Supernatural convention to be held April 4-6, 2008 in Orlando, Florida.

As we are working on final arrangements, exact time and date for the EyeCon 2008 podcast will be posted later next week.

SAG-AFTRA contract – No joint talks?

"SAG announced Saturday afternoon that AFTRA had withdrawn from Phase One joint bargaining." Variety.com reports. According to the report, "The unions had been scheduled to give final approval Saturday at a joint board meeting to a contract proposal to the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. Had that happened, informal talks would have started over the next few days."

As was already posted, the SAG-AFTRA contract on feature film and primetime TV expires June 30, 2008, and according to Variety.com (February 28), "Studio worries about an actors strike have resulted in execs refusing to schedule production start dates on films that can't be completed by that date."

New project for Adrianne Palicki, ‘Legion’

Adrianne Palicki (Jessica) has been cast for Legion, a thriller starring Paul Bettany as the archangel Michael, "the only one standing between mankind and an apocalypse, after God loses faith in humanity. Man's lone hope rests with a group of strangers who must deliver a baby they realize is Christ in his second coming." Source.

Palicki and Bettany will co-star Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton, Lucas Black, Kate WalshKevin Durand and Willa Holland. Director is Scott Stewart, script by Stewart and Peter Schink. David Lancaster and Michel Litvak produce through Bold Films banner, and Gary Michel Walters is exec producer.

Shooting is about to get under way in New Mexico.
