The 2008 SyFy Portal Genre Awards – Voting closes tomorrow (July 25)!

The voting for The 2008 SyFy Portal Genre Awards closes tomorrow, Friday, July 25, 2008.

Supernatural is nominated in two categories: Best Actor/Television (Jensen Ackles) and Best Series/Television.

Tricia Helfer, who played 'Molly McNamara' on "Roadkill" (episode #2.16), is nominated for Best Supporting Actress/Television for her role on Battlestar Galactica.

SupernaturalTV is nominated for Best Web Site.

Winners will be announced in time for SyFy Portal's 10th anniversary in August.

Supernatural Comic Con Schedule Changes!

SF Universe reports that Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki autograph signing, which was scheduled for Saturday,July 26 at 5:00 p.m. has been cancelled due to production and travel issues. According to the report, Ackles will be joining the Producers’ Autograph Signing on Sunday, July 27 at 12:30 p.m. in the WB Booth (#4329 – Hall E). Padalecki, who will be part of the Friday the 13th panel (Sunday, July 27 at 1:00-1:30, Ballroom 20), will not be able to participate in any autograph signing at Comic Con this year.

Chad Lindberg at the Chicago Convention

Chad Lindberg (Ash) is scheduled to attend Creation Entertainment's 2nd Annual Salute to Supernatural, to be held Friday-Sunday, November 14-16, 2008 at Wyndham Chicago O'Hare, 6810 N. Mannheim Rd., Rosemont, Illinois.

As was already announced, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Jason Manns, Gabriel Tigerman (Andrew "Andy" Gallagher) and Samantha Smith (Mary Winchester) are also scheduled to attend the event.

Manns, who provided original music for Supernatural and Carpoolers, will be appearing on stage Saturday and will perform a one man concert Saturday evening at 9PM.
