Jim Beaver on CBS new series, ‘Harper’s Island’

Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer) posted a new entry on his MySpace, confirming the Harper's Island rumors. Beaver will have a regular starring role on the CBS new series, which also stars Katie Cassidy (Supernatural's 'Ruby') and Christopher Gorham (Ugly Betty's 'Henry Grubstick').

"Harper's Island is a murder mystery that unfolds as friends and family attend week-long festivities at a destination wedding on a secluded and picturesque island off the coast of Seattle, infamous for a homicidal maniac's rampage seven years ago." Source.

Chad Lindberg (Ash) is scheduled to attend EyeCon at Sea, EyeCon's Supernatural Ocean Cruise Convention, to be held June 11-15, 2009 on the Carnival Fun Ship Destiny, setting sail from Miami, USA to Cozumel, Mexico.

As was already announced, Fred Lehne (The Yellow-Eyed-Demon) is also scheduled to attend the event.

Three of John Shiban’s horror movies to be released on Blu-ray Hi-Def

According to DVDTOWN.com, three of Supernatural writer and producer John Shiban's horror movies will be released on Blu-ray Hi-Def on October 7: Otis (released to DVD on June 10), Rest Stop (released to DVD on October 17, 2006), and Rest Stop: Don't Look Back (will be released to DVD on October 7). All three movie will be released in Uncut version.
