Don S. Davis, best known for his roles as Major General George Hammond on Stargate SG-1 and Major Garland Briggs on Twin Peaks, has passed away on June 29, 2008.
Davis guest-starred in the Supernatural episode "Sin City," portraying Trotter.

Inkworks released a new set of trading cards for Supernatural, Supernatural Connections, a 72-card collection which features the Winchester brothers and connections between characters during the first three seasons of the series. The cards with autographs from the stars of the show have been inserted randomly.

Gabriel Tigerman (Andrew "Andy" Gallagher) and Samantha Smith (Mary Winchester) are scheduled to attend Creation Entertainment's 2nd Annual Salute to Supernatural, to be held Friday-Sunday, November 14-16, 2008 at Wyndham Chicago O'Hare, 6810 N. Mannheim Rd., Rosemont, Illinois.
As was already announced, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Jason Manns are also scheduled to attend the event.
Manns, who provided original music for Supernatural and Carpoolers, will be appearing on stage Saturday and will perform a one man concert Saturday evening at 9PM.
