Supernatural Spoilers from TVLine

January 2, 2014

The tragic events of the fall finale will be “a crushing blow to Dean,” who makes it his mission to “do whatever it takes to track down Gadreel and eject him from Sam,” executive producer Jeremy Carver previews. That quest will lead the elder Winchester to make “less savory alliances.” Speaking of partnerships: Gadreel discovers that “getting Metatron’s ultimate approval is probably going to be a harder journey than even what we’ve seen so far.” Elsewhere, Cas, with his grace intact, finds “himself in the angelic fray more than ever and at a point of decision he never considered a few short months ago,” teases Carver. “It’s going to be a little of a be-careful-what-you-wish-for [situation].” Bonus: Look for the return of “a good handful” of “beloved” characters who come in “for all different reasons.”

Bartholomew spoilers from TV Guide

Can you give us any more information about Bartholomew on Supernatural? —Gina

ADAM: Let’s just say that he might pose a few more problems for the Winchester boys than previous angel Naomi did. “Bartholomew set out to be a headhunter to kind of rule the roost, whereas Naomi was more in the business of trying to preserve heaven and ruling that landscape,” Jensen Ackles tells us. “With that comes [new] rules of the game.” And those new rules are likely to more deadly. “Bartholomew is malicious in a way that Naomi wasn’t,” Misha Collins says. “She would engage in torture, but there’s something more sinister about Bartholomew. He seems to me to be less sympathetic.”

Something about Supernatural I’ve been wondering about for a while: How come Castiel never went back to visit his wife? Now that he’s mortal, will he go see her? – Elisa
While we don’t know about paying the Mrs. a visit, Misha Collins does tell us that his angel-turned-human isn’t “just” having sex in his new form. “Cas is also experiencing emotions that he hasn’t experienced before,” says Collins. “So it’s not just purely physical sensations, but it’s also the incumbent emotions.” In fact, he says we’ll even see a “smitten” Cas, one who “has a date” this season!

Viewers can expect to see Nora pop up more than once in season nine. (Anyone else’s love interest senses tingling?)”

Season Nine Spoilers from TVLine

September 3, 2013

PREVIOUSLY ON… | Metatron expelled all the angels from Heaven and turned Castiel into a human. Sam continued his efforts to close the gates of Hell by curing Crowley, but Dean discovered that completing the trials would kill him, and begged his brother not to go through with it. Unfortunately, Sammy didn’t know how to stop what he started and collapsed in agony.

COMING UP NEXT | No surprise here: Sam survives. But why he does is a secret that the elder Winchester will hold on to — and one which may cause a rift between the brothers. “You’re going to find Dean, in the beginning of this season, in a slightly different position, one where it’s his decision driving great importance and weight on their relationship,” previews executive producer Jeremy Carver. “It’s a heavy weight to bear, and it has a great effect on their relationship.” There’s also angel mayhem on Earth for the brothers to contend with, including “a lot of players for the throne of who’s going to rise to the fore here,” including Battlestar Galactica alum Tahmoh Penikett’s injured warrior angel. Cas, meanwhile, is adjusting to life as a human by “eating, defecating and fornicating,” deadpans his portrayer Misha Collins.… Read More

Casey: Supernatural scoop, pretty please, with sugar and a cherry on top?!

Fine, but only because we’re hungry. Prepare for flashbacks to the ‘30s in episode four, which is titled “Slumber Party.” In the same episode, we’ll meet a young new hunter named Dorothy, who is from a very far away land that is supposed to be fictional. Keywords here: “supposed to be.”

‘SUPERNATURAL’: PICKING UP THE PIECES; PLUS, ‘DOCTOR DEAN-LITTLE’

That Men of Letters stuff is just the gift that keeps on giving. It’s no secret that I was a big fan of the introduction of this mythology last year, and EP Jeremy Carver told me this week that they intend to ride the MOL train into this season. “We’ll be delving a lot more into that,” he says, “and in fact we’ll be seeing the very first two hunters to ever be stationed at the men of letters bunker. That’s a really, really fun episode we have coming up early in the season where we will be flashing back to 1935.”

Elsewhere, it will take at least the first three episodes for the show to get back into the case-of-the-week format as before, then they’ll be dealing with the fallout of thousands of angels falling from the sky. “There are a lot of pieces to pick up. As we pick up those pieces, we’re always introducing new things, but we’re very much in the world of consequences of last season,” he shared.

But when we do get back to the week-to-week ongoings, here’s something to look forward to: an episode that will cause Dean to become what EP Robert Singer called “Doctor Dean-little.”… Read More
