Which would be…hmm, lemme guess. Sam. No Dean. No Sam. OK, I’ll just give you something related to both. I’m told that Dean will really have something of an identity crisis this season because if he doesn’t take care of his brother Sam, who is he? I’m told he’ll be searching for purpose. Any fans out there who’d like to rent Dean for the day?

Well, there’s a nail-bitter of a premiere coming up NEXT WEEK, in case you didn’t know. But at the CW’s premiere party in Burbank last weekend, Misha Collins was nice enough to enlighten us on an issue that was of great (and shallow) interest to me: Castiel’s creepy facial scar. “Castiel is definitely having problems with his complexion in the first and second episodes of the season. Because he is God now, he has a lot of work to do, and is taking care of Hell, Earth, and Heaven. Frankly, in all of the craziness, he hasn’t time to see a dermatologist,” he joked. “It took three extra hours everyday in makeup to deal with the boils and blisters and deal with the puss-y disgustingness that was Castiel at the beginning of the season.”

There are going to be multiple big bads. Big old big bads. Aka leviathans. And Castiel is the one who accidentally releases them into the world. Translation: This is not good for Sam and Dean.

You’re shameless, Leila. And do you really think that I’m the type of entertainment reporter who would objectify a talented male actor by needlessly linking to shirtless pictures of him? Okay, here’s your scoop: Remember the episode “Hammer of the Gods?” Well, according to Padalecki, the show will be tackling religion again this season in a similar fashion. “I don’t know if we specifically bring back any of them, but we bring that mythology back into play. Like, what happens when our culture and our beliefs clash with another culture’s beliefs and what the boys can do about it?” He didn’t mention new God Castiel specifically, but I think it’s safe to assume he has something to do with this.
