A published poet, Massachusetts-born Misha Collins worked as a White House intern and had a job at National Public Radio in the U.S. before becoming an actor, a career which started with a guest-star role on UPN's Legacy. After guest-starring on Charmed, NYPD Blue and Seven Days, came Collins TV-breakout, with a recurring role on FOX hit series 24, playing Alexis Drazen. Collins could have also be seen on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, ER, Monk, Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Close to Home, CSI: New York and Without a Trace. In his current most recent guest-starring role, he played the unforgettable Manny Skerritt on FX's Nip/Tuck.
Collins movies' resume included small roles on Liberty Heights and Girl, Interrupted, as well as roles in small movies, until he landed the lead role of the psychopath, wife-beater, sadistic sexual predator and a manipulative liar Paul Bernardo on the Canadian movie Karla, playing who The Star Phoenix descibed as "the most hated man in Canada." His newest TV movie, Stonehenge Apocalypse, co-starring Hill Harper and Peter Wingfield, aired on Syfy as part of the network 2010-2011 Saturday original movies lineup.
