‘Harper’s Island’s’ to have a online social show
According to The Futon Critic, CBS and EQAL announced that Harper's Island will be a multi-platform series. Prior to the series premiere, the companies will launch Harper's Globe online "with original social show episodes that will be complementary to the television storyline with overlapping characters, locations and plots that will continue to evolve throughout the first season of the television show. In addition to being available on HarpersGlobe.com, all content will be available at CBS.com, on CBS Mobile and across the CBS Audience Network."
Harper's Globe will launch on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 and will coexist with the weekly television show concluding with the broadcast finale on Thursday, July 2 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).
Harper's Island, Jim Beaver and Katie Cassidy's (Ruby) new series, premieres on CBS Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT.

‘Watchmen’ 12” vinyl picture disc
From Earthtimes:"A 12” vinyl picture disc of My Chemical Romance’s powerful cover of Bob Dylan’s “Desolation Row,” recorded exclusively for the upcoming feature film Watchmen, will be released by Warner Sunset / Reprise Records on January 27th, 2009."
According to the site, "The disc’s A-side is My Chemical Romance’s “Desolation Row,” featured in the film and on Watchmen: Music From the Motion Picture. The B-side is “Prison Fight,” taken from Watchmen: Original Motion Picture Score, composed by Tyler Bates."
