Supernatural is nominated for 5 Constellation Awards: Best Science Fiction Television Series of 2008; Best Male Performance in a 2008 Science Fiction Television Episode (Jensen Ackles, "In The Beginning"); Best Technical Accomplishment in a 2008 Science Fiction Film or Television Production ("Monster Movie," Cinematography, Serge Ladouceur); Best Overall 2008 Science Fiction Film or Television Script ("In The Beginning," Jeremy Carver); Outstanding Canadian Contribution to Science Fiction Film or Television in 2008.

The Constellation Awards are Canada's annual science fiction awards, focused on rewarding excellence in science fiction film and television. The 2009 Constellation Awards ceremony will be held at Polaris 23 on the weekend of July 10-12, 2009.

As was already announced, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins (Castiel), Traci Dinwiddie (Pamela Barnes), Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer), Aldis Hodge (Jake Talley) and Jake Abel (Adam Milligan) are also scheduled to attend the event.
