Supernatural RPG Quickstart Guide, the introduction to the Supernatural Role Playing Game, will not be published as a print product at this point. The Quickstart Guide can be downloaded for free at DriveThruRPG, and is not going to be available at Amazon.

Supernatural Role Playing Game was released on August 19, 2009, and is available for purchase on Margaret Weis Productions, DriveThruRPG and Amazon.com.

Steve Carlson at the Chicago Convention (November 2009)

Steve Carlson is scheduled to attend Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural, to be held Friday-Sunday, November 13-15, 2009 at Wyndham Chicago O'Hare, 6810 N. Mannheim Rd., Rosemont, Illinois, USA.

Carlson, who composed the song "Night Time" for Supernatural episode "Provenance," will perform on Friday Evening, and will be on-stage on Saturday.

As was already announced, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins (Castiel), Traci Dinwiddie (Pamela Barnes), Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer), Aldis Hodge (Jake Talley), Jake Abel (Adam Milligan), Alona Tal (Jo Harvelle), Rob Benedict (Chuck Shurley) and Julie McNiven (Anna Milton) are also scheduled to attend the event.

Good God Y’all Review

The episode begins with something of a recap of the main plot points from the premiere, and the primer is a good thing. For one thing, it lends credence to the assumption that Castiel believes that God has been the one behind the whole sequence of events since the beginning, presumably to some greater purpose. Castiel wants to find God and press him to take down Lucifer himself.
Dean continues to assume the worst, in his post-betrayal psychological state, and repeats his opinion that God is dead and there’s nothing else to do but fight until they can’t. This brings up an interesting point of debate, as I mentioned in the review for the premiere. If we dispense with the naïve and self-serving assumption that the writers are speaking their true feelings through their characters, Castiel and Dean represent some of the hopes and fears of modern humanity. Some desperately want to believe that God has a plan, while others bitterly deride such thinking. I applaud the writers for taking that aspect of the season further and further, and there’s no reason to think it won’t continue.
