Ghostfacers sneak peek was added to WonderCon 2010 website.

Television Screening: Ghostfacers — Warner Bros. presents the world premiere of Ghostfacers, a digital brand extension of the hit CW/Warner Bros. series Supernatural. Ghostfacers follows a team of fearless and sometimes comical “professional” ghost hunters who investigate other-worldly sightings and record their own adventures in documentary-style episodes. Fans will get a first-look at episodes one through three including: ‘Meet the ‘Facers,’ ‘The Grand Showcase’ and ‘The Big Break.’ The series stars AJ Buckley (CSI: NY), Travis Wester (Supernatural), Brittany Ishibashi (Supernatural), Austin Basis (Life Unexpected) and Mircea Monroe (Without A Trace). From Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Studio 2.0, Ghostfacers is executive produced by McG (Terminator Salvation), Peter Johnson (Supernatural), Jeff Grosvenor (Sorority Forever), Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and Phil Sgriccia (Supernatural). The new original digital series premieres on April 15 on CWTV.com.

Cassidy, Morgan and more at WonderCon 2010

According to Film School Rejects, Katie Cassidy (1st Ruby) will attend the A Nightmare on Elm Street panel at WonderCon 2010, to take place this weekend, April 2-4 in San Francisco, California, USA. Jeffrey Dean Morgan will attend the The Losers panel.

Robert Wisdom (Uriel) series, Happy Town, will hold exclusive premiere screening at WonderCon 2010 on April 3rd, followed by a Q&A panel discussion with cast members.

 The Brothers Winchester have died more often than most main characters, so while it’s disconcerting, it’s not particularly unusual for them to die again in violent fashion. It does remind the audience that there are plenty of hunters with a bone to pick with the brothers, and it also serves the purpose of sending the boys to the “Supernatural” version of heaven.
I think a lot of those who criticize the depiction of religious concepts on “Supernatural” display an unfortunate level of insecurity in their own beliefs. Fiction doesn’t have to conform to any specific religious interpretation; it only has to be self-consistent. In terms of how God has been portrayed on the show, this is consistent.
Personally, I think it’s a bit of a lost opportunity. Why bring God into the equation, if you’re not going to pull that trigger? I have offered a scenario in the past in which God essentially tells Sam and Dean that the idea is for humanity to find its own path to salvation, along the lines of “God helps those who help themselves”, but this is a bit of a cruel way to do it.
