“Brenda will be sued this season, a development that brings Mark Pellegrino into the picture. This is a welcome development for fans of the actor from his appearances on Lost, Supernatural and other shows – but Brenda is less excited about her attorney after they first meet.

 

‘This guy is ruthless in the courtroom… [and] he sort of lays down the law to Brenda, in a very blunt, cheery, forthright way,’ Duff says. ‘He is extremely honest…She’s not used to being bossed around. The first time that she leaves his office, she’s in tears.'”

Series stars Jared Padalecki (Friday the 13th[2009]) and Jensen Ackles (My Bloody Valentine 3D) and additional cast members and executive producers present an exclusive sneak peek at footage from the highly anticipated seventh season of this thrill-ride series. “Set photos from filming of the episode Jensen Ackles is directing show Jewel Staite (Firefly, Stargate: Atlantis) on set, and it looks like she’s set to play the older version of Amy, a girl from Sam’s life when he was 15 years old (Colin Ford is returning to play the younger Sam in flashbacks). The older Amy has an 11-year-old son when Sam sees her again, prompting many fans to make comparisons to Lisa and Ben.”

Kurt Fuller to moderate Psych panel at SDCC

PSYCH, USA’s current longest running hit series, returns to Comic-Con with a panel moderated by guest Kurt Fuller, known to fans as “Woody The Coroner.” The entire main cast will take part in the panel including James Roday, who stars as Shawn Spencer, solving crimes for the Santa Barbara police department in his own special way; Dulé Hill who co-stars as Shawn’s best friend and reluctant sidekick Gus; Corbin Bernsen as Shawn’s disapproving father; and Maggie Lawson and Timothy Omundson who play the police detectives O’Hara and Lassiter who unwillingly rely on Shawn’s psychic skills, along with the police chief Vick played by Kirsten Nelson.  Joining the panel will be creator and executive producer Steve Franks and executive producers Chris Henke and Kelly Kulchak. PSYCH returns for its sixth season on USA this Fall.”

Alona Tal joins the Powers pilot cast

“Speaking to her fans on Twitter, Alona Tal (Supernatural) revealed that she had been cast in FX’s pilot forPowers. “I want you all to be the first to know I am a part of a new pilot for FX called Powers,” she wrote on Twitter.

Shortly after, Powers creator, Brian Michael Bendis, confirmed the news along with revealing that the actress will fill the role of the super-powered Zora in the pilot.”
