Katie Cassidy (Ruby) has been cast in A Nightmare on Elm Street, playing 'Kris'. Cassidy will co-star Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker and Jackie Earle Haley as 'Freddy Krueger'.
A Nightmare on Elm Street, directed by Samuel Bayer, begins rolling next month in the Chicago area and hits theaters on April 16, 2010.
