The 2009 Portal Awards – Submit Your Nominations!

The International Nominating Committee for the 2009 Portal Awards is now accepting reader suggestions on who should make the final ballot for this year's awards. This is fans chance to get their voice heard. Send who you feel should be nominated directly to Airlock Alpha's founder Michael Hinman at mhinman@airlockalpha.com.

The 2009 Portal Awards, formerly known as the Genre Awards, started in 1999 and allow fans to vote once a day for 30 days for their favorites in television and movies. Voting begins June 25, and winners will be announced August 20.

The Official Supernatural Magazine tenth issue will be released on May 26, 2009.

Supernatural Magazine Issue #10 features exclusive interviews with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, Julie McNiven (Anna Milton), Jim Beaver, Robert Wisdom (Uriel), Traci Dinwiddie (Pamela Barnes) and Mark Rolston (Alastair).

Other interviews feature special effects makeup artist Toby Lindala, Supernatural stunt coordinator Lou Bollow and costume designer Diane Widas. The issue also has Amy Gumenick and Matt Cohen talking about playing the young Mary and John Winchester in "In The Beginning."

McG’s ‘Human Target’ picked by FOX

FOX has ordered Supernatural producer McG's Human Target to a series.

Human Target is based on DC Comics graphic novel and follows Christopher Chance, a unique private contractor/security guard hired to protect.

The series will premiere with a special preview Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT. Regular timeslot appears to be Wednesdays at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT.
